Prank at the White House

Posted by Adrian on August 29, 2007, 240:44 pm

Even the foremost politicians in our country can have a little fun. Karl Rove, wrapping up his career as Bush’s strategist and council, got his car wrapped, literally. It’s good to read that he even smiled, and then began undoing the prank.

Some people don’t like Transparency

Posted by Adrian on August 15, 2007, 226:53 pm

It appears that some parties – the CIA, Microsoft, Diebold, The Democratic Caucus – do not appreciate the critical press (is it press?) that they receive on Wikipedia. Just like Jimmy Wales, the founder of Wikipedia, they have been caught editing articles about themselves.

This article documents a new tool based on Wikipedia’s open foundation: anyone can edit, and anyone can see who edited and what they edited. Freedom of information (valid or invalid)? You bet!

Ah, I love it when people get caught with their pants down and still deny it.
